When you are having challenges and issues with your WordPress specially if it’s for your business you expect that a good customer service comes with the fee you pay. Unfortunately, with HostGator it is not. It would not only take them hours to respond when you create a ticket, but days. This delay is sometimes even caused by their own servers.
The tickets that you get from the support team never get things resolved. When you chat with their customer support it takes more than 302minutes of meaningless and useless conversations. Try calling their phone and you will end up waiting and listening to a voice recording saying they are currently experiencing high volume calls.
HostGator used to be one of those really good companies but for some reason their customer service has just gone down, significantly.
