For a customer it is very important that they are notified if their site is down. Unfortunately, this is something that HostMonster doesn’t do. Customers would wait for hours to get someone on the phone and would even take half an hour before getting someone with their chat support. Their Customer service representatives would never give a valid explanation and can’t even give a turnaround time as to when the issue will be fixed, worst is a site can be down for 2-3 days or more without notice. To add to the burden while the site is down a customer does not have access to its control panel or files. Aside from this, they charge a dollar every year for every additional sites you host but with no development with their services.
